Location:

East Perth Terminal

Scope:

Remove asbestos from the historic steam locomotive displayed in public car park.

Outcome:

Thuroona thought through every aspect of the process in minute detail to ensure the safety of its workers and the general public. Thuroona demonstrated best practice in this case study by using state-of-the-art equipment and putting back-up measures in place at every stage of the removal process to be absolutely sure that not a single fibre would be missed, and we were honoured to be able to present our process at the 2014 “Asbestos safety and eradiation conference”. - https://www.asbestossafety.gov.au/research-publications/case_studies
